When will my order ship and what are my shipping charges?
Orders usually ship within 1 to 3 business days after payment and address verification are received; but there are some products, rare instances, and extenuating or unforeseen circumstances that may lead to longer fulfillment times. In such instances, our customer service department will keep you updated on the order status.
The vast majority of our products include FREE SHIPPING to the continental United States; a few exceptions include (but are not limited to):
- Select Toto, Fleurco and Danze brand products
- Interior doors
- Items must be in-stock
Customers shipping to Hawaii or Alaska should call our Customer Service Department (1.800.504.9974, option 2) for a shipping quote.
Canadian Customers should call our Customer Service Department (1.800.504.9974, option 2) to receive a shipping and handling quote. BE ADVISED, any potential duty, tariff, customs or customs brokerage fees are the responsibility of the customer, and may be in addition to the shipping charges.
A 30% deposit is required at the time you place your order. Deposits are 100% refundable for orders cancelled within 7 days of the order being submitted.
For in-store and telephone purchases, your sales representative will debit your credit card for 30% of the invoice total as a deposit at the time of the order; and they will place an authorization on your card for the remainder of the balance.
For Internet orders, your credit card will be authorized for the total invoice amount at the time the order is placed. Our billing department will review the order within 1 business day and capture 30% of the payment. Then an authorization will be taken for the remaining balance. When orders ship from our warehouse, the remaining balance is captured on your credit card and the sale is completed.
Completed sales may not be canceled, and are subject to the DecorPlanet.com return policy.
What is the return policy?
DecorPlanet.com has a deep commitment to the highest quality design, products and service. Customer Satisfaction is our #1 goal. But, we understand there may be rare instances where certain merchandise may not match your décor, taste or expectation. To that end, DecorPlanet.com is pleased to provide a flexible, hassle free and industry leading return and exchange policy:
- Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery for most merchandise. Clearance items, special and custom orders, or international shipments may not be eligible for return. Please contact our sales department prior to purchase for questions regarding a specific item.
- You must contact our customer service department (by calling 800.504.9974, opt 2 or emailing RMA@decorplanet.com) within 30 days of delivery to receive an approved RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
- Merchandise must be returned in original condition and in the original packaging.
- In most instances, the customer is only responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the merchandise. There is absolutely NEVER a restocking fee for any Fresca brand product; but certain special order merchandise has restocking fees imposed by the vendor.
- DecorPlanet.com is pleased to provide ‘Free Shipping’ on original orders sent to the customer.
- For returns and exchanges, the customer is responsible for the costs of shipping items back to DecorPlanet.com. For parcel (small box) items, the customer may use the shipping service of their choice to return items. For freight (large item) orders, DecorPlanet.com will coordinate the pick-up and return shipping of the items, and deduct the return shipping costs from the refund.
