The Desta interior door sapele is a classically designed door and is often the perfect choice for those who are after a more traditional look. Made from top quality solid pine planks, the frame is secured on micro studs. Then, the filing, made from thin wood planks, is added to the frame to create a solid structure to support it.

The planks are inserted criss cross, and after the structure of the door is finalized, we add medium density fibreboard to strengthen the door further. Medium density fibreboard, or MDF, is more durable than plywood, making it the best for creating a door.

Once the door has been formed, an all natural wood veneer is added to it. In the shade of African sapele, the veneer creates an extremely chestnut tone. Unlike other doors, the Desta interior door sapele looks as though it was cut from the middle of a tree. The veneer design has curves and personality instead of a horizontal line. Multilayer finish is applied to the veneer to create a smooth product. All doors come with a two year warranty.
