The Desta Verra Interior Door Sapele takes the traditional Desta door and then adds a twist. A portion of the door is frosted glass, but the design is different than other doors with glass inlay because of the glass design. Ruby red glass is fused on top of five willowy grassy blades which are engraved on the tempered glass of the Desta Verra giving it a refined and dramatic look.

The structure of the door is especially important when glass is inserted, which is why the Desta Verra is made from top quality solid pine planks and secured with micro studs. Then, the filing, made from thin wood planks, is added criss-cross on the frame to create a solid structure to support it. We also add medium density fibreboard because it is more durable than plywood, making it the best quality for creating a door.

This door is also treated with an all-natural wood veneer in the shade of African Sapele to create an extremely pleasing chestnut tone. Unlike other doors, the Desta Verra Interior Door Sapele looks as though it was cut from the middle of a tree, and like all our doors, it comes with a two year warranty.
