WonderGliss

The WonderGliss coating that is baked into the ceramic doesn‘t give grime a chance: dirt and limescale cannot secure a hold on the smooth surface, so residue runs off more easily with the water. Sanitary ceramics featuring WonderGliss stay smooth and clean for longer and are thus extremely easy to clean. All it takes is soft cloth and mild cleaning agent.

HygieneGlaze

The innovative ceramic glaze is antibacterial: it effectively kills bacteria and germs. HygieneGlaze is not a surface coating. It is integrated into the ceramic glaze and then baked into the ceramic during firing, providing continuous protection with long-lasting effectiveness. Tests by the Institute for Hygiene and Public Health at the University of Bonn confirm that HygieneGlaze kills an almost unprecedented 99.9 % of germs.

Duravit Rimless

The open design of the flushing rim enables an innovative water flow. Thanks to modern 4.5 litre technology, perfect flushing results are guaranteed, even with only a small amount of water. Due to its open and easily accessible rim area, it is also considerably easier to keep the bowl clean. With its new Rimless technology, Duravit demonstrates how geometry, fluid mechanics and design can be successfully combined for maximum efficiency. In Duravit Rimless, the open design of the WC rim enables an innovative and powerful flush: water flows in the form of a horizontal arc, and then vertically, before flushing the entire inner surface of the bowl without splashing.

Water Sense

Duravit is a member of Water Sense, a partnership programme by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It is aimed primarily at consumers wishing to reduce their water consumption.
