The Uniform Plumbing Code (cUPC) and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) are trade organizations that cooperatively meet to create mechanical design and test routines for plumbing products. These are trade organizations tasked with creating guidelines for safe and interchangeable products that provide value for consumers and competitiveness among manufacturers. All of LAUFEN Bathroom ceramic products (unless noted otherwise) meet the design requirements and laboratory testing demands of these organizations. Organizations that provide this testing routine include the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO Group), whom has issued several of LAUFEN’s certifications.
