CeFiONtect

TOTO's extraordinarily smooth CeFiONtect glaze prevents particulates from adhering to porous, ceramic surfaces. The ion-barrier in CeFiONtect keeps everything cleaner, longer. Less cleaning means fewer chemicals in the environment and less water used for cleaning.

The surface layer that makes up the ionized barrier is more consistent and uniform and has a higher density on the CeFiONtect surface than on the conventional surface.

Creating more smoothness helps minimize debris from sticking. With nothing to cling to particles can be washed away with every flash.

Tornado Flush Technology

The Tornado Flush features two powerful nozzles that create a centrifugal, cyclonic rinsing action which reduces waste buildup and keeps the bowl cleaner. Using 1 gallon or 1.28 gallons per flush, this high-efficiency system is more effective in one flush than most toilets are with multiple flushes. The modern hole-free rim design means that it performs more consistently and is easy to clean.

eWater+

Electrolyzed water is a proven disinfectant used in food preparation and cleaning. Using the incoming water supply, a pre-mist wets the toilet bowl surface aiding in the elimination of waste approximately 80% better than a dry bowl. After each flush, TOTO’s eWater+ mists the bowl with electrolyzed water, reducing the need for harsh cleaning chemicals.

CalGreen

Established in 1953 by the California Building Standards Law, the California Building Standards Commission (CBSC) is within the Department of General Services under the Government Operations Agency. CBSC members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the State Senate.

Watersense

A partnership program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) makes it easier to save water and protect the environment by identifying high efficiency products that perform well. The WaterSense label was created to encourage manufactures to produce water efficient plumbing fixtures and to develop a system to help consumers recognize these products. that have been performance tested and validated by several agencies.

As members of the EPA's WaterSense Steering Committee, TOTO water efficiency specialists advised the EPA on developing product performance criteria for the WaterSense program. TOTO products are recognized is part of the EPA's National Environmental Achievement Track, the “gold standard” for facility-based environmental performance, recognizing environmental excellence by encouraging facilities with strong environmental records to go above and beyond legal requirements. TOTO is also a partner in the EPA's innovative collaboration with the freight industry to increase energy efficiency while significantly reducing greenhouse gases and air pollution.
