This EcoPower 1.0 GPF High-Efficiency Toilet flush valve for Reclaimed Water is made from bronze casting material, this toilet flush offers great function and value for your toilet. The water-powered turbine in the EcoPower flush valve charges the power supply during usage and provides maximum performance in even the most demanding, high-traffic commercial spaces. A special version of this flush valve works with reclaimed water systems.

Key Features & Innovations

EcoPower

TOTO knew there had to be a way to power the sensor without electrical connections or batteries, a way that would eliminate waste and greatly reduce maintenance and the cost of operation. The answer lay in the power of the water flowing through the faucet. EcoPower faucets don’t need routine battery replacement because they are powered by the force of running water. The water-powered turbine in the EcoPower faucet creates an electrical current that is stored in rechargeable cells to power the Smart sensor system.

A partnership program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) makes it easier to save water and protect the environment by identifying high efficiency products that perform well. The WaterSense label was created to encourage manufactures to produce water efficient plumbing fixtures and to develop a system to help consumers recognize these products. that have been performance tested and validated by several agencies.

As members of the EPA’s WaterSense Steering Committee, TOTO water efficiency specialists advised the EPA on developing product performance criteria for the WaterSense program. TOTO products are recognized is part of the EPA’s National Environmental Achievement Track, the “gold standard” for facility-based environmental performance, recognizing environmental excellence by encouraging facilities with strong environmental records to go above and beyond legal requirements. CalGreen

Established in 1953 by the California Building Standards Law, the California Building Standards Commission (CBSC) is within the Department of General Services under the Government Operations Agency. CBSC members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the State Senate.

CBSC's mission is to produce sensible and usable state building standards and administrative regulations that implement or enforce those standards.
