Key Features & Innovations

Brizo-Diamond Seal Technology

This revolutionary valve is built to stand the test of time. Diamond Seal Technology is an integrated ceramic valve cartridge featuring one ceramic disc and one diamond-embedded ceramic disc. As the two discs move against each other the diamond-embedded disc polishes the uncoated disc, removing calcium and mineral deposits. This eliminates the need for lubricant and creates an impenetrable barrier with no metal parts exposed to water. The result? A lifespan of up to 5 million uses, which is 10 times longer than the industry standard (based on ASME 112.18.1 of up to 500,000 cycles).

Brizo-MagneDock Technology

The first technology of its kind, MagneDock features a patented, state-of-the-art magnetic docking system. In the kitchen, this system securely holds the spray wand in place when not in use. The durable magnets are made to last forever, while their polarity keeps the spray wand perfectly aligned, for a clean, seamless look that maintains the faucet’s distinctive form.Similar in functionality to magnetic closures found on totes and personal electronics cases, the magnetic connection makes the wand extremely easy to engage and disengage, without any risk of slipping from the spout when not in use.

Brilliance® Finishes

Sustained beauty.

Brilliance finishes are designed to maintain a pristine look for life—with no corroding, tarnishing or discoloration. This is achieved through a process known as Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), where molecules are embedded deep into the faucet’s surface to create a virtually indestructible bond. This creates a finish that resists abrasions and discoloration better than traditional special finishes and, in many cases, better than chrome.

Tested with over 100 household cleaners, the abrasion resistance of the Brilliance finish can even withstand repeated scouring with steel wool. A Brilliance finish is guaranteed not to corrode, tarnish or discolor for the life of the faucet. It can even withstand prolonged exposure to harsh coastal environments.
